India is a society in transition, and the societal roles and responsibilities are evolving between men and women. While traditional role-playing is still seen in many households, there are some interesting profiles evolving amongst modern Indian women. The economic empowerment of women is a healthy phenomenon. The deal is to manage the challenges and adjustments that this situation calls for. Change is occurring amongst men too. Today, it has become a fashion to brand Indian men negatively, owing to cases of violence against women. However, there are many men who are assimilating these societal changes in a progressive manner, and espousing equality.

Seminar on Social Entrepreneurship
Seminar on Social Entrepreneurship: AIDI – ESA organized seminar on Social Entrepreneurship for students of Master of Business Administration (MBA) in collaboration with Dept. of Management, Jamia Hamdard University, New Delhi. The seminar aimed to enhance the capacity of academic intelligentsia, knowledge building, and promote all people to contribute meaningfully to economic and social development through Social Entrepreneurship. Mrs. Sharon Jackson, Executive Director, European Sustainability Academy (ESA) given lecture on applying practical, innovative and sustainable approaches to benefit society in general, with an emphasis on social innovation and transformation in enterprise development.

Globally there are an estimated 34 million people who have the virus. Despite the virus only being identified in 1984, more than 35 million people have died of HIV or AIDS, making it one of the most destructive pandemics in history. So Stand Up and Make a Difference !!
